Our overall experience with New Castle was great! From the very beginning of the process, Jeff Warren, our salesman, was very patient and attentive. (Not to mention ornery and with a great sense of humor, too!)

We really love our house and feel that it is well-built. My husband, Mike, is a real-estate appraiser and says that the quality of the house is probably better than most stick-built houses out there. This is due to the fact that the majority of it was produced in an environmentally-controlled factory (which we walked through), versus being built at the mercy of the weather outside.

It’s been a lot of fun seeing the looks on people’s faces when they find out our house is a modular home. So many people think of a “modular” home as a “house trailer” and are shocked to find out ours was brought to the location in six pieces then put together like a puzzle! Once they get past the “trailer” mentality, they start to truly appreciate the quality of the work.

New Castle Homes:

Our Commodore home is located in rural Denison, Kansas.
Our new home arrived in March 2007 and of course there was mud everywhere. We finally got to move in towards the end of May. We sat the house on a full walkout basement, and in June of 2007 we added the 2 car garage on the front and in June 2008 the front porch was added.
The only thing left is to put a deck on the back side.
Everyone comments that they can not believe it is a modular home, they think it was stick build until we tell them different. And when they step inside they are amazed by the size and openness of the house.
We have already decided if some disaster would destroy our house, we would have the same house built for us again.
Overall we have been please with our home from Commodore.
